Welcome to Uplands

A school built to serve its community

Uplands High School Mutundwe was established in 2001 by the late Mr Noah Semugoma, a respected educationist and former Head Teacher of Lubiri Secondary School, together with Mrs Jane Semugoma. Their purpose was clear: to widen access to quality and affordable secondary education in the surrounding community.

Today, the school continues this legacy through academic learning, discipline, faith, leadership, ICT, vocational skills, sports and performing arts. Students receive support to grow into responsible, skilled and confident citizens.

Our motto: Holistic education is the way forward.
